About this tour
If you want a day away from Tbilisi, traffic, and the pace of everyday life, this ride into Kakheti offers a simple return to nature, horses, and tradition.
This is a full-day horseback journey through gentle valleys, open vineyards, and historic countryside villages – combined with a relaxed wine tasting and a picnic lunch in nature.
We ride a scenic loop starting from Kvemo Alvani, passing through Zemo Alvani, Khvtaeba Monastery, Pichkhovani, and Babaneuri before returning back to the starting point. The route is easy-going, peaceful, and designed for enjoyment rather than challenge.
Along the way, the landscape of Kakheti unfolds slowly — vineyard hills, rural roads, monastery views, and wide open spaces where time feels unhurried.
This is not a demanding expedition.
It is a day to breathe, ride, taste local wine, and reconnect with the land at a slower rhythm.
